To point the DNS to my Azure Static Web App, i needed the IP Address. I could not find it in the Azure dashboard but you can use the ping command to get it.

To find the ip-address of your static website, do the following:

Open the Azure portal

Copy the URL

Open a terminal or command prompt

Ping the URL
